🪟 Shutters in the Chartreuse
The shutters on the Chartreuse are very old, and on the north side, we’ve kept the original opening mechanisms, which are not as intuitive as modern ones.
To avoid any damage, please take a minute to watch these two short videos showing how to open and close them properly:

To make you feel at home, we’ve left a few things at your disposal:
☕ a bean-to-cup coffee machine with coffee beans,
🍸 a small selection of spirits,
💧 a Sodastream with gas cylinder,
…and a few other essentials.
These are offered in the spirit of hospitality — we simply ask that you replace anything you finish, so future guests can enjoy them too.

📻 Bluetooth Speaker
The vintage radio in the Chartreuse living room used to belong to my grandmother 💛
It has now been converted into a Bluetooth speaker!
To use it:
- Turn it on with the large knob on the left.
- Connect your phone to WONDOM via Bluetooth.
- Enjoy your music 🎶
⚠️ Please do not use it outside – I’m very attached to this radio, and rain or humidity could seriously damage it.
❄️ Air Conditioning
In the Chartreuse, each bedroom has its own remote control to turn the air conditioning on or off and adjust the temperature.
We rarely use the AC in summer, as the nights are cool and simply opening the windows is usually enough to lower the temperature in each room.
However, if you wish to use the air conditioning:

Press the Power on/off button.

At first, the temperature and cooling mode may appear greyed out. If so, press the Power button again — the temperature display should then turn blue.

You can adjust the temperature using the up and down arrows.
We recommend not setting it below 22–23°C for comfort and energy efficiency.
Before leaving the house, please turn off the AC in all bedrooms, as well as in the living room and kitchen.
